National Forest Design worked closely with the good folks at BBH
London to develop Bailey's Irish Cream's "The Sound of Summer" worldwide
out-of-home and print campaign. They also completed an online project
for Zune Interactive with the lovely McCann Worldgroup SF. Check it all

Autumn de Wilde photographed Ingrid Olava for EMI Norway, Isobel
Campbell & Mark Lanegan for Universal, My Morning Jacket for ATO, and
They Might Be Giants for Disney. She also worked with Chris Walla (Barsuk)
and documented Death Cab for Cutie in the studio. She was interviewed
on NPR's Bryant Park Project about her book, Elliott Smith —

She'll be exhibiting prints from the book at the Basil Hallward in Powell's
Books in Portland, OR, starting January 3rd and lasting through the month.
Autumn co-directed Matt Costa's music video "Mr. Pitiful" with Emmett
Malloy and Tim Wheeler. She also shot a cover story for THE ADVOCATE,
and worked with BON APPETIT, TEEN VOGUE, ANOTHER MAGAZINE, and ME.
Michael Schmelling worked with ESQUIRE, WIRED, and FAST COMPANY.
Seth Smoot shot designer Todd Bracher for ELLE DÉCOR.
Eden Batki shot the April 08 catalogue for FREE PEOPLE and the
album packaging and publicity photos for new Geffen artist Trevor Hall
(ask her about the elephant!).
Jeremy & Claire Weiss photographed Shamim Momin, the Associate
Curator of the Whitney Museum, for ANOTHER MAGAZINE; Democratic Presidential
candidate, Dennis Kucinich and his wife, Elizabeth, for ELLE; and eight
young Hollywood actors for an EN ROUTE magazine cover story and feature.
David Calderley is art directing the album packaging and marketing
campaign for the new Counting Crows CD for Geffen Records. He's also art
directing the upcoming release by the Salvador Santana Band.
Tina Tyrell shot for V Magazine in Istanbul. She also worked with
TEEN VOGUE, and shot Vena Cava for LUCKY and Ween for SPIN. She shot the
new look book for designer Tim Hamilton's menswear line. Tina's new fashion
story is out in the current issue of NYLON.

Autumn de Wilde's book Elliott Smith is out Nov. 1! Congratulations
to her! Autumn photographed The Punch Bros. and Sam Phillips for Nonesuch
Records, Eels, and The Little Ones for their upcoming record on Heavenly.
She went to London to document Sonic Youth on the British television series
From the Basement. She also worked with TEEN VOGUE, INTERVIEW, BLENDER,
THE LOS ANGELES TIMES MAGAZINE, Q, DWELL, NYLON, and MARIE CLAIRE. On
the video front, Autumn directed the music video for Ingrid Michaelson's
hit single "The Way I Am," which was just added to VH1, as was video for
Rilo Kiley's "Silver Lining."
Tina Tyrell shot the cover story about Amanda Hearst for STELLA
MAGAZINE/THE SUNDAY TELEGRAPH in London. Congrats, Tina! She also worked
with NEW YORK MAGAZINE, LUCKY, TEEN VOGUE, and photographed Marc Ronson
for SPIN. She'll be shooting for V MAGAZINE in Istanbul in November.
Jeremy & Claire Weiss photographed Becki Newton from "Ugly Betty"
for ANGELENO magazine, the band Apollo Sunshine for press and album artwork,
Serj Tankian, Band of Horses, and Sigur Ros for Myspace and the Spring
catalog of Unhee Clothing. "I Do Adore" photo show curated by Claire opens

Michael Schmelling worked on features for THE WIRE, BLENDER, S
MAGAZINE, and the artist Randy Schull for AMERICAN CRAFT MAGAZINE. He
also photographed Hamish Bowles for T: NEW YORK TIMES STYLE MAGAZINE.
The ad campaign he shot for Backpage.com is currently running in weeklies

Eden Batki photographed Widespread Panic for Wenner Media/Men's
Journal and Miller Genuine Draft. She also shot the latest catalogue for
FREE PEOPLE, and her images of Mike Giant are the cover story in the current
issue of JUXTAPOSE. Her photos of Yoko Ono are on the cover of the current
issue of ARTHUR MAGAZINE. Eden will be showing as a part of the Magenta
Foundation's emerging artists series in Toronto (Oct.) and New York (Nov).
Tina Tyrell shot Amanda Hearst for STELLA/THE SUNDAY TELEGRAPH

to work with LUCKY, NEW YORK MAGAZINE, and TEEN VOGUE.
Jeremy & Claire Weiss did an advertising shoot for Soldier Design
for Gargoyles that took them to North Carolina, Seattle, and New York.
They photographed the artist Johnathan Rice for ANGELENO, Rilo Kiley for
MySpace and Keith Morris for the LA TIMES. They had an opening of their
Polaroid Project at Adobe Books Backroom Gallery in San Francisco that
was picked as the "Must See of the Week" by the San Francisco Chronicle.
The show is up throughout September.
Autumn de Wilde photographed Steve Carell for MEN'S VOGUE, Rodarte
and Eleanor Friedberger for ELLE, Matt Costa for Wenner Media/Rolling
Stone, and the artists Nada Surf and LP. She also photographed Dean Wareham
for the cover of his new book on Penguin Press. She documented Rodarte
during Fashion Week in NYC.
Stylist Shirley Kurata did wardrobe for Sprint and Blu-Ray commercials
directed by Aaron Ruell, and worked with the artist LP in NYC. She also
styled the Rodarte runway show, which was held at the Dia Arts Center
in NYC during Fashion Week.
David Calderley designed the packaging for the new Interpol single
"No I in Threesome" for Capitol Records, and he's completing the Bob Marley
"Africa Unite" project (DVD packaging & poster) for Palm Pictures.

Autumn de Wilde worked with Peterson Milla Hooks on a photo shoot
for Target. She also directed music videos for Rilo Kiley and Johnathan
Rice, both on Warner Bros. Records. She photographed the band Manchester
Orchestra for Canvassback Records/Sony Music, Cass McCombs for Domino
Records, and continued documenting The White Stripes on tour.
Michael Schmelling has done work for MODERN PAINTERS and WIRED
magazines this month, as well as shot the album packaging for Witchdoctor's
upcoming release on Williams Street (Adult Swim) Records. He continues
to spend time in Atlanta working on the Outkast book project.
David Calderley designed the new single "Mammoth" for Interpol
(Capitol Records). He also designed the new Hot Hot Heat CD, DVD, and
vinyl, which will be out later this summer on Warner Bros. Records. He
designed the packaging for the new Josh Ritter album and single for Sony
Records. David designed the Carmen Marc Valvo Fall/Winter 07 catalogue
and invitations for Fashion Week in Bryant Park NYC. New work will be
profiled in an upcoming book for Rotovision. David was interviewed for
COMPUTER ARTS PROJECTS MAGAZINE, for an article on the future of music
packaging design.
Jeremy and Claire Weiss photographed Yul Kwon, Larry Wilmore, and
Kori Newkirk for VIBE's annual "Juice" issue. VIBE hired photographers
they also felt had "juice," and so Jeremy & Claire were featured on Vibe.com.
They also worked with ANGELENO. They photographed The Decemberists and
Bad Religion for MySpace.com Secret Shows, and have photos in the new
issue of SWINDLE. Their work was posted on the home page of Virb.com for
the month of July. The first exhibit of Jeremy and Claire's "Polaroid
Project" will be opening on Sept. 6th at Adobe Books Backroom Gallery
in San Francisco.
Eden Batki shot a fashion story for the NEW YORK TIMES "T" MAGAZINE,
and she photographed a story on Laurel Canyon for GQ Italy. She also worked
with BUDGET TRAVEL, GLU, and DIVA.
Seth Smoot shot the cover and a 7-page feature for a new home magazine
called ORGANIZE. You can find his images all over Interpol's new album
"Our Love to Admire," as well as all singles, posters, and ads.
Blake E. Marquis did an illustration of Patton Oswalt for MySpace.com.
He also created a band logo for Le Rev and the logo for Greenyc.
Shirley Kurata styled Miranda July for BUST, and Cass McCombs for
Domino Records. She also styled an American Crew shoot, two commercials
for director Aaron Ruell, and a music video for the band Rilo Kiley.

We welcome photographer Michael Schmelling to our roster! Raised
in Chicago, Michael is now NYC-based, and most recently shot the Backpage.com
ad campaign for THE VILLAGE VOICE. His work has been seen in the pages
of THE FADER, WIRED, DETAILS, and the NY TIMES MAGAZINE, to name a few.
He's also shot many book covers for authors like Chuck Palahniuk, George
Saunders, and Colson Whitehead, and finished a recent look book for Isaac
Mizrahi Studio. Michael photographed the highly successful THE WILCO BOOK
(Picturebox 2004) as well as the Grammy-winning packaging for Wilco's
album "A Ghost is Born." Michael's own book of photography, SHUT UP TRUTH,
was published in 2002 (J+L Press). Awards include one OBIE, numerous inclusions
in the American Photo Annual, and he was a finalist for ICP's Infinity

Jeremy & Claire Weiss photographed artists Seonna Hong and illustrator
Takashi Murakami for publicity. They have photos of graffiti artists Sever
and Dave Persue/ Bunny Kitty in the new issue of Juxtapoz. They also photographed
David Lynch, John Sinclair, Boom Bip, Maroon 5, Tiger Army, Stephen and
Damian Marley, Circa Survive, and Chromeo for various publications. They
most recently shot Nick Cannon, rappers T.I., Twista, and Lupe Fiasco
for T-Mobile. Their first attempt at making a music video for Los Angeles
band No Age was picked as the "Indie Video of the Week" on Myspace.com.

F. Scott Schafer shot a new ad campaign for Ameristar Casinos for
the Cannonball Agency. He also shot another campaign for US Bank, Centrum,

Autumn de Wilde photographed The Plain White T's for Hollywood
Records, as well as Rogue Wave and Matt Costa for Brushfire Records. She
shot the new catalogue for Metropark. She'll be on tour documenting The
White Stripes this summer (she photographed their album package & publicity
for their new release). She also shot for ELLE, TEEN VOGUE, THE SUNDAY

Wardrobe stylist Shirley Kurata worked with SWINDLE magazine, Metropark,

Tina Tyrell shot the look book for menswear designer Tim Hamilton's
Fall and Spring 07 collection. She stayed busy this month photographing
for the NEW YORK TIMES MAGAZINE, a well fashion story for JANE, LUCKY,
DOMINO, Phillip Lim for TEEN VOGUE, and a fashion spread for COSMO GIRL.
She shot J. Mascis and Ryan Adams for SPIN.
Autumn de Wilde photographed Rilo Kiley for WB and directed their
music video, and she photographed the band for FILTER. She shot Rodarte
for the SUNDAY TELEGRAPH in London. She also shot Pegi Young for her solo
record and Eisley for HARP. A collection of photographs taken by Autumn
and her father Jerry de Wilde (www.dewildephotography.com)
are currently on display at Colette in Paris (www.colette.fr).
She also has two fashion stories, one featuring Zooey Deschanel, in the
current issue of LULA.
F. Scott Schafer's website won a PDN Photo Annual award for best
website. His Roots poker picture which he shot for Def Jam won a spot
in the Communication Arts 2007 Photo Annual. Scott also shot Sarah Silverman
for MAXIM, and the ad campaign for the second season of NBC/Sci-Fi Channel's
program "Who Wants to Be a Superhero" with Stan Lee. Scott also shot the
ad campaign for Bravo's "Sheer Genius" and will be shooting "Project Runway"
this month.
Jeremy and Claire Weiss photographed actors Theresa Palmer and
Odette Yustman for NYLON, A Fine Frenzy for HARP, and shot comedian/actor

David Calderley finished up a project for Adobe Creative Suite
Premium Edition ad/web campaign with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, and
CD design, singles, and limited edition packaging for the world release
of Interpol's new album for Capitol Music Group. He recently completed
the new Mowo! album "Cinco de Mowo!" as well as Moby's new remix album
for Mute Records. David designed and art directed the latest print campaign
for designer Carmen Marc Valvo, and he's developing the national ad campaign
with Universal Buzz for Fresh Red, an LA-based live gig website. He is
also designing Rogues Harbour independent film company brand and website,
and a movie poster for their first award-winning release "Shoot Down,"
a documentary film shot in both Cuba and the U.S.
Stylist Shirley Kurata worked with DOMINO MAGAZINE and LULA, styled
the band Rilo Kiley for photos & their new video, and worked with director
Aaron Ruell on a Burger King and T-Mobile commercial.
Eden Batki spent the last month in Brazil where she shot the CEO
of Havaianas for MONOCLE (UK). She also photographed the look book for
Diaz and Dawn Sharp fashion and worked with DIVA magazine. Her image was
used as the cover for Ursula K. Le Guin's new novel Worlds of Exile and
Illusion (Tor Books).

Jeremy and Claire Weiss photographed The Midway State for Interscope,
Gym Class Heroes for Myspace Secret Shows, and NFL stars Reggie Bush,

shot lesbian skateboarders for GLU. She also photographed the look book
for Clothesline by Diaz and Dawn Sharp, fashion designers. A frequent
travel photographer, Eden will spend April in Brazil.
Blake E. Marquis is working on a poster series for MySpace.com
Secret Shows. He was recently interviewed for the AIGA, and his work will
be featured in "Hit The Decks" which opens March 31st. This installation
is being presented by Subliminal Projects/Studio Number-One. Blake continues
to work with the artist Robyn on single & CD designs, and is finishing
a project for Lucky Strike.

Seth Smoot is new to the Giant roster. He is currently photographing
the new album packaging and promotional materials for the band Interpol.
Seth also shot Interpol for the NME, the Langham Hotel of Hong Kong for
creative agency Chandelier, and an Atelier ad for the Valentine Group.
David Calderley is serving as Art Director and Designer for Interpol
(Capitol Music Group). He just finished up Fashion week designs for the
Carmen Marc Valvo Show at Bryant Park and after party at Gramercy Park
NYC. He did the Art Direction + Design for his Spring/Summer '07 catalogue.
David also completed the new Martin Medeski & Wood Album for Little Monster,
the new Moby remix album for Mute, and MoWo! for Ryko. There will be a
three-piece feature profiling David's work in the upcoming book 1000 Supreme
CD Designs from Maomao, a Barcelona-based publishing company.
Autumn de Wilde shot a second Geek Squad campaign for Crispin,
Porter, and Bogusky. She also photographed Akon for an advertorial for
Wenner Media/Verizon. She documented Rodarte surrounding their latest
runway show in during Fashion week in NYC, The Citizens Band performance
in LA, and director/artist Miranda July preparing for her new show. Autumn
shot Spoon for their new album, John Doe for an upcoming solo release,
Barsuk artist John Vanderslice, and Tegan & Sara. She will be photographing
The White Stripes for their new album packaging and publicity in early
March.
Jeremy & Claire Weiss shot actress Theresa Palmer for NYLON, Daryl
Hannah and El Vez for SWINDLE, Velvet Revolver for BLENDER, and Kerry
Washington & Danny Seo for ELLE. Their work was exhibited in an LA gallery
space as a part of the hugely popular MySpace Secret Shows' 1 Year Anniversary
event. They also photographed hip hop stars E-40, Lil' Scrappy, and Mike
Jones in Vegas during NBA All Star weekend. They recently shot the album
artwork for No Age's upcoming release on UK label Fat Cat. The worldwide
ad campaign they did for Nokia was featured in the "Create" section of
the current issue of PDN. They are also featured and interviewed in PDNedu
as the "Photographers to Watch in 2007." Their work is exhibited in a
group show at Eleanor Harwood Gallery in San Francisco opening March 2.
Eden Batki shot her second campaign for Starbucks with Wieden +
Kennedy. She also photographed Cory Kennedy for ANGELENO, and her image
will grace the cover of Ursula K. Le Guin's new novel for Tor Books.
Tina Tyrell worked with Lowe New York on an internal project for
the agency. She stayed busy shooting for TEEN VOGUE, DOMINO, V, and NYLON
magazines this month. She shot the Kings of Leon for SPIN and Charlotte
Gainsbourg for FILTER. She also continued her personal project at this
year's Westminster Dog Show, some of which will be published in the next
issue of V Magazine.
Blake E. Marquis worked with Energy BBDO on an illustration for
Wrigley's.
Stylist Shirley Kurata was the Creative Director for Rodarte during
fashion week Feb. 2007. She styled a Comcast commercial for director Aaron
Ruell, and she styled Bright Eyes for the new music video directed by
Patrick Daughters. Shirley also worked as wardrobe stylist on the Geek
Squad campaign for Crispin, Porter, and Bogusky, and she styled Miranda
July for HARPER'S BAZAAR UK .

this month. They also shot for INTERSECTION magazine, SWINDLE, and DOMINO.
Autumn de Wilde is shooting a new ad campaign for Nikon this month.
She also photographed Elijah Wood for NYLON, Zooey Deschanel for LULA,
Jon Heder for STRUT, Modest Mouse for Sony BMG, Lavender Diamond for Matador
Records, and this month's cover with Beck & Devendra Banhart for GUITAR
WORLD ACOUSTIC. She completed a music video for The Bird & The Bee for
Blue Note Records, which will be out in February.
Tina Tyrell shot James Murphy for SPIN and worked with NEW YORK
magazine, VISION, and did another fashion spread for NYLON.
Shirley Kurata styled a music video for Under the Influence of
