Marcus has been tapped by EA Games twice to photograph their video game covers. The first cover, Madden 22, features Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes and the second features Josh Allen.
“I really want to be the cool guy that acts like it’s not a big deal to have shot my second Madden cover, but honestly that’s not how I feel," says Marcus. "It’s rare that photographers receive validation in this business; there’s no championships or fans screaming our names. Keeping it real, it feels good to look at this cover because I know all the time, work, and effort I put in over the years to get. As a Black photographer coming up in this industry, I did not always receive encouraging feedback, but I kept trying anyway.”
