Hyatt called on Lucas to shoot their newly launched 'Be More' campaign, showcasing hotels in France and Mexico. Because the hotels were fully operational during shoot days, Lucas often had to wing it, re-crafting carefully scheduled plans and shooting on the fly. Tasked with photographing real people in various scenarios like a girl’s trip, weddings, a sun-filled family vacation, and work meetups, he delivered 40-60 shots a day from 3-5 different locations.
“We believe this is some of the best work to come from the World of Hyatt brand, as it beautifully showcases those connection moments in a way that makes the viewer feel like they are right there with the guest," says Laurie Blair, Hyatt’s VP of global marketing in AdAge.
“The creative team was a powerful all-woman team that rocked it,” says Lucas about working with production company, The Smile. “Over the course of the shoot, our team was like a family. This was a long project with a lot of work to be done—and that bonded us.”
